Hadhrat Abu Hurairah Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu telah berkata bahawa Hadhrat Baginda Nabi Muhammad Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam telah bersabda bahawa Allah Ta’ala telah berfirman:
“Aku adalah sepertimana sangkaan hambaKu terhadapKu dan Aku bersamanya ketika dia berzikir mengingatiKu. Maka jika dia mengingatiKu dalam dirinya, Daku akan mengingatinya dalam DiriKu, dan jika dia mengingatiKu dalam jemaah manusia, Daku akan mengingatinya dalam jemaah yang lebih baik dari mereka; Dan jika dia mendekati kepadaKu sejengkal, Daku akan mendekati kepadanya sehasta; Dan jika dia mendekati kepadaKu sehasta, Daku akan mendekati kepadanya sedepa; Dan jika dia mendatangiKu sambil berjalan, Daku akan mendatanginya dengan berlari.”

I knew and i pondered it too. How by changing your profile picture on facebook helps those prisoners in palestine??
Here comes the logic. PRAY IS OUR GREATEST WEAPON. By just spreading words, reminding people, is an effort for them to keep on praying. Remember how the powerful doas made by most of Muslim in the whole world helped in the Egypt revolution? The move on their own is not enough. Even during Badar, Rasulullah s.a.w kept on praying to win the battle. And hamdallah, the All Hearing, All Knowing granted the doa.
Or in promoting an event, isnt it simple to tell your whole network of frieds by just changing your profile picture? Or by keep post it on your wall so that it mess up your friends’ newsfeed??
Same goes today, the reminder of the Nakba Day and the hunger strike posts are everywhere in the newsfeed. What has this come into you?? A REMINDER, to keep on pray.
So spread the news. Or if you hesitate to believe in this facebook logic, just make duas for them.
May Allah who knows best, put what is best on the palestinian. Ameen. Freedom will come soon. That is what promised.
